Account of a disastrous 1857 shipwreck off the Carolina coast and the modern efforts to salvage her treasure. First edition, second printing with a number line sequence beginning at "2." No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and shows only slight bumping to the upper edge near the spine. This would be an "as new" copy but for a 1/4" spot along the textblock edge. Otherwise this book is nearly perfect. This collectible, near fine copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
